No way. Only if you put a normal sound card instead of the built-in one.

Are you using standard realtek drivers? Tried to rollback to 97 realtek (if supported)? Did the problem start showing up after?

Are you connecting from the front side of the system unit? if so, then the wire from the panel passes by the hard drives for sure, and they can be the cause of the rustling when the drive is actively working. I have this bug too. I connect everything to the back panel.

may seem like a stupid answer, but I had such a situation, until I plugged it into a grounded outlet, the
hissing in the headphones disappeared, when the connector was inserted into the front panel , the
crackling and hissing on the 5.1 acoustics also disappeared
