Does it make sense to replace the power supply?

Configuration:

  • Intel Xeon E3-1280, DeepCool Gammax 200T active cooling
  • Nvidia GTX 1060 3Gb
  • SSD 240 GB
  • HDD 320 GB

Now the power supply is set to 450W. The power supply is not new, without certification, worked for about 4 years.
Actually the question is - at the start the fan began to spin up very loudly, but after a restart or if you shake it a little, the noise disappears. Does it make sense to replace the PSU or can something be done with what is? And if you take it as a replacement, then what power should you focus on and what solutions will be the least noisy?

if you are sure that the noise is from the PSU fan, then just either lubricate it or replace it. Usually they use regular 120mm coolers.

Clean from dust, check if the capacitors are swollen, lubricate the cooler.
If the Chinese non-name - its replacement will not be a stupid idea.
