How to fix "Error code (1)" error?

Played around with symbolic links.
Campaign spoiled a bunch of dependencies.
Can't install or update anything..

How can this be fixed???..

1. figure out where pycompile has gone. If it is not in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin, then download the python-minimal package and manually put it in place.
2. dpkg --configure -a
if it doesn't work, look at the output and think further. If you have aptitude, you can see what aptitude install says.
