How to fix a vagrant?

I downloaded vagrant from the site, tightened the homestead package,
when I run vagrant up, I get the following message, what should I do? Who met?
On the vagrant package that I downloaded, version 1.9.7 is written

This Vagrant environment has specified that it requires the Vagrant
version to satisfy the following version requirements:
>= 1.9.0
You are running Vagrant 1.8.1, which does not satisfy
these requirements. Please change your Vagrant version or update
the Vagrantfile to allow this Vagrant version. However, be warned
that if the Vagrantfile has specified another version, it probably has a
good reason to do so, and changing that may cause the environment to
not function properly.

Delete your old vagrant, install a clean new one.
Maybe you didn't download it.
And do not stay too long on homestead: the project, in my opinion, is very unsuccessful and with an empty target audience.
