How to find the steam id of a player in a random game?

A certain network game for N players, in which:

  • No link to player profile.
  • Neither the nickname nor the avatar in the game are displayed and in no way visible.
  • In the main menu (of the Steam itself) View-> Players, information on this game is not added.
  • There is no chat and voice chat, there are no other ways to communicate (except in Morse code, but this is unlikely).
  • There are no servers as separate entities. Matchmaking somehow brings players together (only the developers know how).

Maybe somewhere there are traces in files or in network packets? Who is well versed in the internal workings of Steam? Or how to dig easier?

@Noizefan

I understand that you met someone and are now looking for?
It is very unlikely that there will be info about a person in the logs, why do you need it as an opponent purely technically? The client receives updates from the server and that's all
But of course try to visually examine all the data for the log format

Didn't find what you were looking for?
