How to find query history in site search?

Interested in how you can find the search history on the site. I have an online furniture store, how can I see what they were looking for in the search on the site, what queries were written in the search engine on my site? There are a lot of clicks on the search on heat maps, so how to understand what they wrote and searched for?

If your site engine has such a function, then most likely you need to look in the admin part. If not, then there are plugins for common CMS sites such as Wordpress and Joomla.
If neither is available, you will have to write a function yourself that will write the data entered in the search field to a database or to a separate file.

You can add Google Analytics (GA) or Yandex Metrika and track the number of clicks on certain urls that are generated when searching your site. For example, if each search query is a url ending in ?search=поисковая фраза, then you just need to look at how many masked pages searchusers open. And then in the same analytics table, you can see which search phrases users entered most often.
If Google Analytics or Yandex Metrica were already installed, then the data on what users were looking for on your site can be obtained for the entire time these counters were working.
