How to find out why the switch hangs

Hello, there is a D-Link DES-3028 switch, it was bought 2-3 months ago. Recently, he began to hang: he does not let packets through, does not ping, on the web face, telnet and ssh does not let him in. Power reboot helps, earlier in the morning rebooted, plows all day, and now hangs every 5 minutes. Actually the question is: how to find out for what reason the hang?

Most likely overheating of the device or a malfunction of the PSU. How to diagnose, I think, is obvious.

The answer is "Because it's a d-link!" accepted?

Maybe a loop?

Plug it in via UPS and it's better to have a power filter as well. Will the situation change?

If this is not a loop (turn on all the settings from the loop on it), then most likely it's easier to hand it over to the service center, it seems like D-link'a is fine with this!

syslog to a remote basin, it may turn out to catch something dying
. You can also connect a laptop to the console if the placement conditions allow
. But it’s easier, of course, to return where you took it and ask for a new one.
