How to find out what is the problem with the laptop?

I have a laptop and it flickers in black with a Yellow Green or Red stripe on the side

. As I found out, it is either a monitor cable or a video chip, but how can I find out more exactly what the problem is.
When disassembling, I found such a chip with a dumb iris on a black spot. the other two chips have a green background.

I'm bad at details. But I suspect this is the video chip. only I do not know whether it is discrete or integrated.
Can anyone tell me exactly what the problem is. And can you solve it yourself?
