How to find out the number of pages of someone else's site?

I am not interested in indexing by a search engine, but in the very structure of the site, the number of pages. Interested in free / cheap services and / or desktop programs with approximately accurate results. I tried to parse the sitemap through xml-sitemaps com, but there is a limit of up to 500 pages.
How does anyone solve this problem?
