How to find out the MAC of a sleeping computer?

There is a local network to which the sleeping computer is connected. The goal is to wake him up. To do this, you need a MAC, which you need to know. Is there such a possibility? The lamps on the network card of the computer are blinking in sleep mode. There is access to a router in this network (Dlink) and to a server under Ubuntu. There is no required host in the server's ARP table, arp-scan also did not give anything useful. nmap seems to be useless in this case.

I strongly recommend keeping track of MAC addresses in conjunction with IP addresses and NetBIOS names. For the future.
If the manufacturer of the network card or motherboard is known, then you can find out which ranges of MAC addresses were issued to him. And then - wake up everyone in this range, brute-force search.
arp-scan, nmap and other tricks are useless in this case, because all network services are disabled on the sleeping computer, except for WakeOfLan. And WakeOfLan does not work on the central processor, but on the processor of the network card.

You can search the dhcp logs on the router.

On some network cards they write mac. You can also look at the manufacturer, model and sort through all the addresses. In addition, you can simply turn on the computer and look in the settings.

There are a few more related issues that can be solved in one way:
- And how do you find out the name of the user who logged into the computer while it was on?
- And how to find out how many and when and what devices were walking on the network at all?
- And how to find out which IP who received?
- And how to make a permanent IP to an already turned off computer?
- And how to find out at night what one of the users was doing during the day?
etc. and the like...
There is only one correct answer - to collect all the necessary information constantly and in a timely manner. Ways - to suit everyone.
