Reading with Okular. It is quite enough for my tasks, and in terms of formats it is omnivorous
Basically come across PDF and DJVU, I use evince. Unpretentious, nimble.
It is most convenient for me to read evince books in pdf and just with a browser.
Under Linux in general and without reading it covers well.
And so - Firefox, FBReader, Evince
On my computer, I mostly read technical literature in pdf and djvu, for art I use Kindle.
If some format of something is not supported, I go to synaptic and type the desired format in the search. I put the reader (watcher, gamer) and read (watch, play).
I remember that in Debian and Gentoo something was not read and not played. In Ubuntu everything is read and played normal.
I love Ubuntu! :)
PS "Alternative" repository sources must be enabled - in the synaptic settings.
PPS Whoever likes it can also use the console ...
I rarely use fbreader because there is no need to read books from a computer.
