How to fix ubuntu 14.04 wi-fi dropout issue?

Periodically throws out and only restarting the machine helps. Usually I sit through Chrome and DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET pops up. In Firefox, etc. stupidly does not load pages. I already tinkered with the settings, nothing helped, and everything looks ok there.

About “many people have” a clear lie and misinformation.
What is in the logs at this time?
What's in dmesg after departure?

On Asus laptops, the problem with disappearing wifi was solved like this:
Instead of a deuce, you may need to enter another number.

Would you attach a wifi adapter to the question. I have a similar problem, solved by installing a proprietary driver

@zmeyjr

Look in Additional Drivers if there is a proprietary driver for your wifi
Well, the name of the Wifi adapter is here
Try to register DNS servers manually.
