How to find out if the RAM will work with a different frequency?

I have two 4GB sticks installed in my laptop, frequency 1600, ddr3 (hynix PC3L-12800S-11-13-B4).

I want to change to two 8GB DDR3 SO-DIMM PC3-17000, frequency 2133 MHz, CL 11T, timings 11-12-13.

The question is, will the new memory work with such a difference in frequency / timings?
