Is it possible to install 4GB RAM in Asus M2N68-AM SE2?
There is a rather old motherboard Asus M2N68-AM SE2; Recently, there has been a desire (and need) to increase the amount of RAM, because having 2 GB of RAM these days is simply ridiculous. It is characteristic that only 2 DD2-type strips with a maximum frequency of 800 MHz can be inserted into the above-mentioned board. On the other hand, it is not yet possible to buy a new motherboard at the same time as the OP.
And so, closer to the point: can I put two sticks of G.Skill DDR2 2048Mb F2-6400CL5S-2GBNT RAM into my motherboard ? The point is that in documentation refers to a fairly similar model - G.SKILL F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK, but about the above, alas, nothing. F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK is always sold in a set of two brackets (2Gbx2) and it has CL4 (4-4-4-12) timings, while in F2-6400CL5S-2GBNT they are CL5 (5-5-5-15) .
By the way, there are now two of these.

DDR2 800 should be fine, but the mother can hold up to 4Gb, so everything should be fine.
Look more closely, in the first link you indicated:
2 x DIMM, max. 4GB , DDR2 1066 / 800 / 667 ...
i.e. your G.Skill fits perfectly.
У меня в такой матери стоит 8Гб! 2х4Гб High Density память, купленная на Ebay, все работает.
