How to find a forgotten user password in Windows 10?

Yes, guys, it’s completely crazy, and a stupid story happened to me recently. In general, for many years, for many sites, social. networks, as well as for some encrypted disks, I used one, plain password. I used it at home as well, for a primary/standalone Windows user (not a Microsoft account). Recently, when I came to work, opened Telegram, and staring at the password entry window, I realized that I could not remember my main password, from the word at all. At the same moment, I began to panic, “How so? Lapse of memory? What will we do?". I always remembered quite a few passwords, but I screwed up by forgetting the one I decided not to write down, relying too much on my memory. Well, it will be a lesson for me, and yes, I know that you can use a phone number to restore various online accounts, and a mailbox, and BitLocker needs a recovery key - there are no problems with all this, and I am sure that I can restore access to 99% of resources. Unfortunately, this will not work with the main windows 10 user, because, as I put it earlier, my profile is offline, not tied to a Microsoft account.
In this case, there are two solutions - resetting the password, or recovering using third-party tools, and personally I'm more interested in the second option, i.e. I would like to exactly "LEARN" my old password without resetting it. To do this, the guys on the net advise using tools such as Ophcrack, L0phtCrack, and Elcomsoft System Recovery, but I don’t know what is really worth using in this case. In general, who faced a similar problem, I ask for help, I will be very grateful.
PS There is still a second user on the computer - my sister, there is access to it, but it is not an admin one, is it possible to complete the task through it somehow?

So guys, in general, I figured out this problem. For the solution, I needed the latest boot image of Windows 10 PE from Sergei Strelec, and the Reset Windows Password 9.0.0.905 program located on it. With my Windows 10 LTSB v/1607, this no name utility managed literally in two clicks, and on the one hand, it’s really good, because I saved myself from the headache and the need to reset passwords on a number of resources, and on the other, from the realization The way Microsoft handles security makes me, frankly, uncomfortable. In any case, thanks to everyone for participating, you always help out!
By the way, I took the work instructions here: https://remontcompa.ru/1713-obzor-programm-elcomso... (and no, this is not an advertisement)

I would rummage through the saved passwords in the browser - this is the easiest. Surely one of the many will be what you need.

It is impossible to find out a forgotten password in Windows. You can only reset - Hiren's BootCD, for example. If the password has been used in a lot of places - it's worth looking at the saved passwords - in Windows, in FF (if used), in chrome.

First bypass, and then peep in the system (if possible)

Shl. I myself used a program from elcomsoft, but on Windows 7, I calmly found out the password and went

If the password is stored in clear text, mimikatz can be used. If it shows only the hash, then you will have to guess the password using

Ophcrack, L0phtCrack, and Elcomsoft System Recovery
(still have WPR)
