How to filter rows in Google Sheets by date?
In Excel, when filtering a column with dates, there is such a wonderful grouping tree - take.ms/i69O6
First, all dates are grouped into years, then into months, and then you can select days. Thanks to this, you can quickly filter table rows by year and month.
In Google Sheets, it's just a list of values for each date - take.ms/NCWmb . This sorts the list by the first digit, not by calendar sequence. That is, 05/28/14 is after 08/27/14 and before 04/30/14.
How can I quickly see all the rows in a table with dates that belong to the same month?
