You need to somehow fake the recipient's e-mail.
Situation. The account is linked to my old mail, the old mail is on a resource abandoned by the developer. I need to spoof my email in order to get a password reset link. I know, it usually works with the sender... That's the question: is it possible to implement all this with the recipient?

In your situation, the only legal option is to buy the dns resource name. Record the time when it can be done.
It may be easier to contact the resource admin. All sane resources check records. At least without spf you will not succeed

Maybe it's easier to contact the administrator of the resource? Or with the administrator of the resource where the box is attached? You will not be able to influence a server that is not under your control, which itself will determine where to send a password reset request, unless you buy the name of this server...
