Hello! I fell into the hands of a piece of iron D-link DES-1228, it looks like ME (there is a com port). There are no accesses, I wanted to reset it, but it was not there! There is no reset button. Useful to google, the situation is this, you need to connect via the com port, enter the service mode and upload the firmware.
To begin with, I can’t delete already uploaded firmware, I select the appropriate option, I save it, but after rebooting everything is the same. I spat, I decided to fill in a new one, according to the instructions, they say you can fill in several firmware at once.
I turn on the download mode, connect with a hyperterminal, I see a message that the piece of iron is waiting for a connection. I try to upload a file, and everything dies. No upload, no errors. This is where I got it all. What can I be doing wrong?

Made! In general, I did everything correctly, but in the terminal I had to use flow control: None.
