How to extract data from disk after ESXi 5.5?
Hello, the Intel RS2BL080 RAID controller died, Windows Server 2012 was installed on ESXi 5.5, a separate disk was connected to the controller, on which file backups were added via Windows Server Backup. Can you please tell me how to extract files from this disk?

If the controller was not in IT Mode, then you probably need exactly the same controller. Once I tried to restore with another controller, it did not work
With such introductory - just look for the same controller
And continue not to use them)
For some reason, I didn’t receive notifications about your answers in the comments under the question, I saw them now by chance, I’m writing here.
If you do not remember the details, then maybe you remember at least what ESXi hung on? On the raid? Those. Was there an array on the controller or not?
PS
If you suddenly run into a wall during self-recovery, as an extreme option, we can recover data from RAID remotely (online), one of the engineers can look at your disk. In the vast majority of cases (when there are no hellish configurations, the analysis of which requires a lot of time), payment is only for the result.
