Reinstalled ESXI over storage. Is it possible to recover a VM?

Hello colleagues! The situation is simple and complex at the same time. HP Proliant dl360e Gen8. ESXI 5.5 was installed on an SD card and worked for several years. After an incorrect shutdown, at the next boot, it began to swear at / sb.v00 and stopped loading. The local guys took a new flash drive and reinstalled ESXI via Intelligent Provisioning in "Recommended" mode. Bottom line: ESXI installed on RAID, which was the VM storage in the working system.
Question: is it possible to restore the storage / partition / files after such a pirouette or is this the end.
Of course, I am ready to answer any questions / comments, because. came from another city and am in the same room with the server.
Thank you.

Use VMFS Recovery. I encountered such a problem when the reinstall wiped the datastore. Unfortunately, then he found virtual machines, but could not restore, because he thought for 2 days, and then died. But I had an ancient version, use the new one, but it is paid.

Thanks to all who responded. Just got around to posting an answer.
Three days tormented, but it was not possible to restore. Restarted the system on a new server from scratch.
Now I'll gather my thoughts and try again. If something works out, I'll let you know here.
