He got a job in a software company as an Android Junior. When setting tasks, managers require to evaluate it in hours, but how to do this if you do many things for the first time and you don’t even have an idea how long it will take.

in general, a strange approach, to require assessment of tasks from a junior. usually this is done by the supervising junior. at a minimum, checks the score before broadcasting it to managers.

You figure out how many hours you need and multiply the result by Pi. And since you are a junior, you multiply by 3-4 more. But in general, it's nonsense to demand such an assessment from June.
