How to enable vpn on windows server 2019?

Hello!
There is a raised VPN on ubuntu (L2TP).
There is also windows server 2019 in the cloud. Connection to windows happens on RDP.
When you enable VPN in the Cloud, access to the server is lost if "Use the default gateway on the remote network" is enabled in the IP settings, if you turn it off, then RDP connection occurs, and the IP on the Internet is shown by the server itself.
Far in my mind, I understand that somehow it is necessary to enable traffic reception on the main connection, and redirect everything else via VPN, but I don’t understand how to do this ... Google didn’t give any results ...
I would be glad for any thoughts and suggestions! Thank you in advance.
PS The question itself:
How to enable VPN and not lose the RDP connection?

Why do you need a VPN?
Raise the proxy on ubunte and enable work through the proxy in the browser. Thanks to the FoxyProxy add-on, you can flexibly configure what will go through the proxy and what will not, and even through which one if there are several of them. (Chromium and everything in Chromium cannot authorize in SOCKS5, I bypassed this by putting ccproxy on Windows, which connects to the proxy.) In Ognelis, everything works out of the box. You can set it up without authorization, but then you will need to set up a connection restriction only from your IPs, if the connection is only from your VPS, which, as I understand it, has a static IP, there will be no inconvenience.
PS Now it is clear that no one understands what a VPN is and what it is for. And shove it wherever they can.

Well, everything seems to work fine for you.
That's the way it should be.
We turned on the gateway of the remote network - all traffic is wrapped in the VPN goes to the remote server, and is destroyed there. There is no internet access.
Left your gateway - go freely to the Internet.
Therefore, everything is in order.
