How to enable use of right alt only?

Good afternoon.
There was a problem with changing the layout when working in a Visual Code program.
When changing the layout alt + shift the caret simply disappears and goes to the text menu selection.
Has anyone come across this problem and how did you solve it?
Change to another combination to switch the language.
