How to enable the use of virtual IP from VPN in Windows in the VPN network itself?
There is a configured strongswan server on ubuntu, everything works fine.
Android device with strongswan client connects fine and uses virtual IP inside VPN network.
Windows 10 also connects, but it still uses the IP address from the ISP inside the VPN, not from the VPN.
I want Windows to also use the virtual IP inside the VPN, so that later on the server side to prohibit access from other IPs outside the VPN.
Considering that this problem does not exist on android, there is an assumption that I misconfigured something on Windows. What could it be? In the properties of the VPN connection for IPv4, the checkbox "Use the default gateway on the remote network" is checked, IPv6 is disabled. In this case, the connection status shows the IP that issued the VPN.
The global Internet when entering from Windows from under the VPN shows the IP address of the VPN server, but inside the VPN the IP from the provider is used.
On the Internet, not only a solution, but I did not even find a similar question.
