I just received an invite and unknowingly, when publishing, I did not choose that this was a translation. What can be done now? I can't edit it, I can't create a new post on this blog due to insufficient karma.

It seems like nothing. But you can do a little hack - create a new translation topic, fill in all the fields, and then through FireBug, let's say, change the value ... I don't remember exactly, something like topic_id - I remember exactly what comes right after topic_type. Id must be copied from the current topic - it is shown in the address bar.
