How to draw lines more smoothly?

How much I fight with the problem, I can not solve. I drew a signature on paper. On it in illustrator I draw lines with the curvature tool. It still turns out crooked and ridiculous, despite the fact that the tool aligns the lines. How can these problems be solved? Maybe there are tools specifically for such opportunities? Plugins? This curvature tool is already taking out the brain, which often creates new points at its own discretion and changes the slope of the lines.

I don’t understand why the curvature tool is here, it will be done in 5 minutes with an ordinary pen.
Then, if you don’t like something, then you can comb everything beautifully with manipulators. And go through the Width Tool to make it look more like a realistic signature.

According to the sketch, draw immediately with an ordinary pen (pen) - and more control and then less hemorrhoids with fine-tuning.

Roughly draw with a pen, drive the curves with the handles of the reference points. I don't really trust tracing - sometimes it's easier to redraw than to edit a vectorized raster.
