Hey! Can you please tell me a good lesson on gradients? I want to be able to create similar backgrounds) thanks in advance!

It seems to me that the author is more interested not in how to technically create gradients, but in how to create beautiful gradients :) If I'm right, then you should read about color theory and experiment more with colors, blending modes and transparency.

Try to copy (recreate) what you like. There are plenty of examples - searching for the desired keyword along with the "design inspiration" tip will return a bunch of sites and pictures.
