How to do "create virtual hierarchies for project"?

Such functionality is available in Android studio where you can choose how to display the project structure.
I'm looking for a plugin for vs code or just a program that could temporarily create a modified display of the project structure.
And that it would be possible to switch between them of course.

The closest thing I found with a sufficient level of customization is tagged fm, but you can't share tags with other programs :)
