How to do a website redesign?

There is a site chelovekpesok.ru .
The client asked for a redesign.
Tell me, in your opinion, what should be mandatory on the main page (from what is already on the site), and what should be removed on only internal pages if it is a multi-page site but reminiscent of a landing page in design (for example, like this one - pride27. ru ).

Hello!
Ideally, you need to make a prototype of the future project.
For all landings or "landing-like" - this is a prerequisite.
First of all, collect a complete list of competitors, study their sites, solutions. Pay special attention to sites that are constantly advertised in Yandex Direct (based on the assumption that advertising is profitable for them, we can conclude that sites are also effective).
Highlight unique selling propositions. Schematically describe the submission form of each competitor. Those. you can make a dock, which will indicate: Website address, such-and-such a chain of persuasion (first the product, then the reviews, then "about the company", etc.).
Based on the collected data and preferably a brainstorming session (on the topic of how to present it even better, what USP to make), I advise you to schematically design a new resource (in AXURE RP, for example).
And only then - order a new design layout, make up, fill, etc.
PS When you go through all these stages, you will have a large argument base "why this and not that", the customer will approve the prototype and as a result you will not encounter a situation where for a long time you will need to do all sorts of "Wishlist / finishing touches" .

In my opinion, the most concrete idea of the type of activity of the company is just the same materials, they would look good in the case of a landing page, if they are arranged in the form of layers of soil, from top to bottom, but not particularly stretched. Above them, closer to the header, you can place a calculator. As for the rest, it may be worth putting the details in a separate menu item, and making "your order" in the form of a pop-up window. Clients can be arranged in a row, in the form of icons, closer to the footer.
And so, in general, there is nothing superfluous / missing here. It’s just that, in my opinion, it’s worth considering the specifics of the organization’s business area, it’s unlikely that they have many clients in their clients who like to scroll through the page for a long time and admire the site, so if you increase the page length, then maybe one and a half times.
IMHO.

Definitely need a text about the company on the main page!
Materials can be taken out in the menu.
In the footer sitemap with the main points

When redesigning, you may change the structure of the site. So don't forget to redirect from the old URLs to the new ones. In general, I advise you to consult with a SEO specialist.
