How to dispose of an engineering idea if I am a humanist?

Dear friends, I am interested in such a question.
There is an idea in a bright head, engineering design. But alas, education is humanitarian and it is too late to change something in this direction. And the idea is good, almost every day I find confirmation. I started to learn about the patent - it all comes down to a drawing and a technical description. And here it is even scarier. How to find such a person who, after a detailed and exhaustive explanation of the idea, can be entrusted with the preparation of technical documentation for a patent.
I know what an NDA is, I know that there are companies that do it for money and even found a patent attorney - the price tag for the plan is about 300 thousand. But who knows if it's worth it? I don’t have 300 in the dust, I’m not ready to give for checking the idea.
In short, what do you think?

idea with a prototype often costs 0 money or less
An idea with implementation, customers and profits has a price. However, it is not always greater than 0

1. The vast majority of ideas are not working, even if it seems to you the opposite. That's why they say that the idea is worthless.
2. Those ideas that are working - require a lot of effort to implement. That's why they say that the idea is worthless.
And you need to look for confirmation not that the idea is good, but that it is bad. And if you don’t find such evidence, then it’s at least not bad.
People love their ideas, and they will always find confirmation that they are good, even for the most crazy idea.
First find out if anyone needs your invention at all. Prototype there to make, try, etc.
And, if there is a demand, to patent.
This is one of the options. And so - you decide. In addition, there is not enough information to say something specific.

Everything above is correct.
From my own experience, I can say that the idea and implementation are two different poles. As soon as you approach the implementation, it may turn out unexpectedly for you that the idea is either so-so or it is not technically possible to implement it, as you imagined it in your head.
Without a technician, you cannot make a sample, as we understand. Therefore, simply hire a techie in the right direction, sign a non-disclosure agreement if necessary, or simply explain what you need without specifying the level of uniqueness of this project. There is also the option of equity participation, that is, you give the techie a share.
All answers are on the surface

300 thousand rubles???
Not seriously.
This is not enough for anything serious. They
just want to cheat you.

Here above about equity participation - very good advice. I would go this route.
