How to display the name of the menu module in Joomla 3?

Help me to understand!
I have 4 menu modules in the footer, I created an "alternative layout" override for these modules. Each module has a name (the name of the menu module in the list of Joomla modules), but I can not figure out how to display this name in the layout.
For example, if I want to display the id of this module, I take it from the $params object like this:
$params->get('tag_id')
But I can’t find how to get the name, I was picking the Joomla API, but it’s big and complicated for me, I guess I need to use the JFactory facade method, but there are a lot of things , can someone already faced? I want to do it beautifully and correctly, I don’t want to crutch.
