I doubt it will help, but it might. If you uploaded a system image to a USB flash drive for installation on a PC, and then formatted this USB flash drive using windows, then the bootloader remains on the USB flash drive. You need a low-level formatter or format with rufus. Then disassemble should not respond to the flash drive.
