How to disable the sleep function of the A-Data Superior USB drive?
There is a usb drive A-Data Superior SH93, after 10 minutes of inactivity it goes into hibernation and turns off. The drive is connected to Synology USB Station 2 NAS, constantly running in start/stop mode, and wears out a lot.
Is it possible to disable such energy savings or is it implemented at the hardware level?

You can try to disable AAM and APM screws, but something tells me that this is not safe.
I found only one program that theoretically does this on the screw itself: Victoria (Win) (Found from here , hdparm for windows ). Everyone else recommends periodically writing something to disk (there are many programs / scripts for all kinds of operating systems)
