How to disable full tree branch expansion in PhpStorm?

There is an expanded tree:

I collapse it:

And then I expand it again, and I want to get it like this:

And it expands ALL levels for me again (as in the first screenshot).
In version 2016 it worked as I needed, in version 2017.1 there was a problem, now when reversed - PhpStorm expands again all the sublevels that were expanded.
I can’t find a setting where to change it so that when expanding, only one level is displayed, and not all that have been expanded.

In general, in 2018.1 this problem is no longer there.
