phpstorm. Requires JAVA_HOME to be set (failed to create jvm: error code -6). How to solve this problem correctly to make it work?
PhpStorm broke after changing VM Options. Requires JAVA_HOME to be set (failed to create jvm: error code -6). I wanted to speed up and entered something wrong in the settings, now you need to install java jdk and jre. But I don’t know what and where, either by default or in the directory with the program. And also how to enter the environment variable, into system or user ones.
As I understand, you need to install both the 64 and 32 versions, since I have Windows 10. But what and where is again not clear, can someone respond?
Here is the modal window when PhpStorm starts:

Pre-install jdk and jre (in the default path), make sure the paths in the system variables are correct, and run.
Here is another screenshot for the variables:
and here is another screenshot of the phpstorm.exe error:
Thanks to everyone who decided to help me, I expected a detailed answer, but did not wait, I had to solve the problem myself. I found one video on YouTube, where they tell in English how to correctly connect system variables.
It should be said here that I have a 64-bit system and I downloaded the jdk file for the 64-bit configuration only. Then connected, as shown in the video. Here it is:

After the work done, I need to restart the computer, because at first nothing worked for me. And only after the reboot happened a miracle. Thanks everyone, the issue is closed. Maybe my experience will help someone, for now.
By the way, how can I close the question?
Check JDK path and change JAVA_HOME environment variable to correct path
Good afternoon everyone, a similar problem arose, only webstorm, nothing helps, I also tried to uninstall the program and install it again several times, maybe someone managed to solve it in another way?
You have a little mess in your head.
Let's take it in order you have:
HP StorageWorks EVA 4100 - 1 pc
Server with FC - 1 pc
SAN switch - 1 pc.
The first thing that is not very clear is why do you need a San switch in such a configuration?
It is quite possible to put two FC adapters on the server and live in peace, especially since they are clearly cheaper than san switch. Well, or you still plan more than 1 server.
Second point, you didn't specify what san switch you have? san switch should have an eternet port, which should be included in the management network, or just in the network, if you don’t have a management network yet or you won’t do it at all and put the bolt on all safety. You will need to plug ILO or impi into that network, or another interface for managing the server and your storage system itself. I don’t remember exactly whether this model has a single control interface for the head or each head has its own. As a result, in this network you will have everything in order to manage it all. On FC, only data is transmitted. In the storage system, you create a lun, and then you hang up a specific lun on a specific server. As an option, you raise the cluster and then use the cluster FS for several servers. On Win, this was mostly used for Hyper-C and MSSQL.
In general, something like this.
PS Although, of course, I would do everything differently :) on Storage spaces and JBOD baskets.
