How to develop towards creative front-end development?

The other day I came across a vacancy for "Creative front-end developer" ( https://spb.hh.ru/vacancy/37357438 ), and although I worked with WEbGl, Three.js and 3D in general on the web in the past, I realized that what I'm missing something in this area.
Where can I read / see how Awwwards-level front-end sites are being developed?

The job is kind of weird.
Half of the requirements are what a person will look at and remember after a week of work. They are not required for interviews. There was a feeling that the words "creative developer" mean two things - either such a "creative person" who makes code like "for (var a && foo() in c ||d())" because "it's more optimal and beautiful, not I love extra lines", or on whom they hang the work of a designer and demand "well, make something prettier, the customer did not like it."
Creativity in development can be shown either by inventing a new architecture, or by creating/optimizing algorithms. for the second, this vacancy can still be pulled with a very strong desire, but this is if you want to believe in the best,

If you are talking about those of them where there are some cool graphic whistles, (most of them are just an unusual design that needs a regular layout designer), then if you have worked with webgl, you understand how to work with canvas in general, and you know a little math - this should be enough.
A big part of the wow effect of these sites is the creativity of the designer.
Please be more specific. all these whistles are knowledge of api (read in the docks) and algorithms.
If you are interested in the topic of algorithms, unusual graphics and cunning software solutions, and creativity in this vein - this is a topic that has little to do with the frontend as such, it is probably closer and more extensive than all game development, you can read there, as well as things like demo competition, ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAeFuk-_Dwo&list=P... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC96JVq-z0-0iHAkIk... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ6ZzJeWgpY) if you want hardcore (this is all written at a low level in programs the size of a couple tens of kilobytes) - there is more than enough software creativity, if you can do something like that, then in the front you will be torn off with your hands by "websites of the awwwards level". But maybe you don't want to :)
