How to determine the process loading the processor?

When loading MacOS BigSur (MBP16"), the fans are silent. When working in the video editor, the fans start to work, drawing attention to themselves. After closing the video editor, they continue to work at the same speed. I want this to not happen unnecessarily. Probably some other processes high CPU load.Need to find out which ones.Please tell me how to do it?
