How to determine if the router is compatible with a 4g antenna?

I was puzzled by the issue of the Internet in the country. Since mobile communication is lame, you need a 4g / lte router with the ability to connect an antenna to amplify the signal from the station. But I ran into a problem that from the characteristics of the devices it is not clear whether the connection of antennas is supported. At best, it is written that there is a sma port. But after all, as far as I understand, this is a standard antenna port and can be used to connect antennas to amplify a wi-fi signal, not a cellular one.
In general, the essence of the question is: how to identify a router with the ability to connect an antenna to amplify the signal from a cell tower?

First, take a MIMO antenna and cable. For example this one . I took it with an SMA connector so that pigtails could be used if necessary.
Next, we look at the LTE modem. If it has regular connectors for an external antenna, then everything is simple - we read the instructions, take the appropriate pigtail, and connect it. If there are no standard connectors, then you will have to disassemble the modem. Its board should have technological connectors for TS9 or CRC9 antenna types (the types are almost the same, one with a diameter of 3.5, the other 3 mm).
It should be remembered that there should be two connectors, not one (MIMO support).
Depending on which connectors you purchased the antenna with, you buy a pigtail (adapter) from this connector to the modem connector. For example, such , in my case.
All this collective farms in some building.
Connect the antenna and use.
Here is such a collective farm with the above components and a Yota modem providing me with 20-30 megabits of a stable Internet:

Isn't it easier to buy just such a router and raise it to the mast? https://mikrotik.com/product/sxt_lte_kit

It’s not better to use a bunch - gain antenna -> lte usb modem -> router
For example,
mikrotik + usb 4g lte modem + MIMO antenna
It’s easier to attach an antenna to these whistles
