How to describe data for neural network training?

I need to describe data for neural network training. I have divided the data into three classes. The name of each file corresponds to the correct answer. There is also data to check.
I can not understand how I need to describe this data. Is there a generic code to accomplish this task?
I sit not the first evening and still could not figure it out.
