How to delete an unused account in gmail on the phone?

I have 2 email addresses linked to my gmail account on my phone.
How to untie one of them?
I don't use it, and every time some strange notifications from it come from the Android system, stating that I have to install something in order to use this work account.

Settings - Accounts - Google
if it is simply not needed for anything else, then delete it. (three dots in the header)
And so there are settings - for each application - synchronization or not.
If the mailbox is not Google, then IMAP is personal.
