How to debug an application on a Windows Phone 8.1 device?
I want to debug an application on a real device.
Connected the device to USB. Registered it for development. But, in VS 2013 Express, my real device does not appear in the Debug list.
How to fix it? What am I doing wrong?

1) VS 2013 Express - uninstall.
2) VS 2013 community - install. (With Update 4, no need to download anything extra).
3) If Windows Pro - you can use Hyper-V. But there are difficulties with VMWare and VirtualBox (there is a workaround on the network).
4) I already debugged via USB, it works well. You can also download an additional add-on that will show the CPU, RAM load and something else for your phone and the running application in real time.

first you need to install Windows Pfone KIT 8.1 or something like that, I don’t remember the exact name (it’s about 5-10 gigs yet). and then there will be an opportunity in debugging, after of course creating a project for wine fun or a universal one, select a device ..... well, then, as in a regular debugger, ...... although, if your system supports virtualization - use an emulator, this safer and faster
