How to deal with wifi signals neighbor routers using the same channels?

I'll show you two pictures:Ns-2mcL3RU4.jpgP4m8osIlVyg.jpg
In the first case, the "network is dumb" - the browser hardly opens anything. In the second case, everything is different - the browser "with pleasure" downloads everything that you do not ask for it. Please pay attention to the fact that in the first case, the browser asks to wait until the page is loaded using an alert - errors are also caused for plugins. I take measurements using my phone next to my laptop - I'm interested in how it affects the fact that the channel of my router coincides with the channels of my neighbors' routers. That is, do I believe correctly - then if the signal level of my router on the same channel is high, then this is not scary. Scary when it matches? What does it do in such cases. Is it possible to influence the situation in some programmatic way? My router is managed, - manufactured by Asus, - model 13N or something, - stands in the kitchen 4-5 meters from me,

It's very simple, WiFi is an environment with a common collision domain. That is, the more devices operate on one channel (±2 neighboring ones), the higher the probability of a collision - a simultaneous attempt to transmit a packet. Each such collision requires a delay before retrying transmission and reduces the overall speed of the entire channel. It does not matter if clients are connected to one or more access points, the collision domain is one per channel. Loss of total throughput is usually taken as 3-5% for each subsequent device in the same or adjacent channels.
You can only fight by switching to free channels, most household access points try to do this automatically. If possible, switch to a wired link.

I can't use the full version of the vk.com site, because there they have long pooling, - I can’t watch / listen to video or music. The network periodically falls (every 2 minutes). I climbed into the settings of my Asus RT-N12D1, - I dug into the Wifi settings, - all the settings are set as needed.
Are there really so many wifi networks around me? Will the foil help me?

Try tuning channel 13.
