How to customize login screen on OS X 10.9?

Hello.
Like many systems, OS X has a login screen. It looks like this:

You need to change the logo and background. How can I do that?
I found Loginox, but as I understand it, the authors do not recommend using it with OS X 10.9

in onyx there is a tweak for the login screen
