How to cure js code highlighting in netbeans 8.2?

When using js in html, a construction with a comment is often used:

<script type="text/javascript"><!--
  some js
//--></script>

In Netbeans 8.2, syntax highlighting is broken in such constructs (a snapshot is attached below). How to fix it?
Please do not suggest to remove the comment, because in the OpenCart system I work with, this comment is inserted everywhere when using js in html.
How can I make the code highlight properly?
