How to crop an image to a complex shape?

First I wonder if it's possible to put another image inside the svg like a mask in photoshop.

I have this shape saved as svg:


I want to crop the photo along this path so that it doesn't go out of bounds.
That is, the image is superimposed on this figure.

Of the examples on the Internet, I found only how svg is superimposed on top of png images and simply overlaps part of the picture.
