How to crimp shielded RJ-45 connectors?
Previously, I worked with ordinary plastic RJ-45 connectors, common wires 5e and 6. Everything worked, no problems at all. Now I bought metallized RJ-45 connectors, I tried to crimp wires 6 and 6a. Doesn't hold. The knives go in, the tool seems to be normal, but it is worth pulling the wire and it comes out. Visually, the knives did not even touch the veins, there are no cuts. The crimping tool 100% presses the knives, then only the deformation of the plastic around. What am I doing wrong?

In general, the problem here was something like this. First, yes, you need to use plastic inserts and push them inside the connector. But! Inserts have a right and wrong side, and if you insert the wires incorrectly, then no matter how you crimp, nothing will work. Therefore, you need to check that the insert goes into the connector with the correct side.
Connector outlet is too wide. I agree with @vreitech that plastic inserts should go for this connector. The wires are inserted into the insert, insert with them into the connector and then clamped.
This has often happened before.
connectors are "with inserts" and "without inserts". maybe your case is the first.
Somehow I came across a defective batch of "ordinary plastic RJ-45 connectors" - the tool did not press, not all the wires contacted during a dial tone. The supplier returned it to the supplier, he did not delve deeper.
