I myself am an ordinary user (economist), today I was struggling with the task of creating an L2TP + IPsec VPN channel based on Mikrotik 6.43.4 model Mikrotik RB941-2nD-TC Lite
so that I could connect via a phone through a node on which W7 and from a working machine to W10 because home NAS server, video surveillance, etc....
all the literature written on the net is not suitable. their version is significantly different, i.e. they were written back in 2016, 2017,

According to Mikrotik, everything is very simple, the main rule is that in no case should you read what they write on the net ("all the literature written on the net is not suitable").

In extreme cases, there are MUMs, in which everything is also very detailed.

RouterOS hasn't changed conceptually since 2016 or even 2014. The problem is apparently not that "literature is not suitable", but that you are trying to repeat at the level of "click there, poke here." So it won't work.
