How to keep the Internet working when connected to a VPN?
Hello!
The problem is the following: when connecting to a vpn client, the Internet disappears. Well, or to be more precise - I can’t go to any site, I can’t connect anywhere via ssh / ftp. But you must!
Tell me, is it possible to somehow resolve this situation? You need to simultaneously have an RDP connection inside the VPN and be able to connect to the site via ftp / ssh.
In stock - ubuntu and virtual box with win7 - if it somehow helps.

You need to do in the vpn settings of the client (if the client is on Windows) as in the picture
. That is, uncheck "use the default gateway of the remote network", then you will have local Internet access, and you will have access to ssh / ftp. Now your computer is trying to get the Internet through vpn, and the routes are wrapping up there.
