How to make your own ngrok analog with your Ubuntu VPS/VDS?

Good afternoon, there is a computer with a gray ip, and there is also an Ubuntu VPS with a white ip.
There is a program, let's say tcp server, which worked on the local network, but I would like to add, if necessary, access from the outside to the desired port.

Let's say in vpn from hidemy.name it is possible to open the required port for connection and the program works fine, but I would like to make my own analogue.

Just like the analog, ngrok is suitable for about the same functionality for throwing local ports into the global network through a third server.

openvpn + iptables what you don't like?
on the VPS, put the openvpn server
on the computer, the openvpn client
through iptables on the server, wrap the port on the client
