I don’t understand the complexity either ....
A title page is created ...... then pages with recipes
are then linked with hyperlinks of the page .....
This is exactly the same as doing a public page in VK .....

Nothing extra is needed. Tags with categories and so on.
The recipe itself contains only text and photos. Ingredients in regular list<ul>

A page is simply created, as for a regular article, and a recipe is added. Only one caveat, you need to wrap everything written in Schema Recipe micro-markup in order to get a beautiful snippet for issue.
